West Coast looking forward to summer tourism

Tourism is riding high on the West Coast, and locals reckon 'the Summer of the Coast' is just around the corner. The region was hit hard during the pandemic, and it struggled to attract staff once the tourists did return.
The West Coast was in high demand last summer, surprising and delighting tourism operators after a rough few years.
Anticipation for the upcoming summer is high.

New Zealand's COVID status and rules for travellers

Good news, everyone! New Zealand's borders are completely open to international travellers. The official New Zealand government information gives all rules and advice. Please note that if you test positive for COVID while in New Zealand you will need to isolate for seven days. Stay healthy!
